Pregnancy

When the pregnant belly begins to grow, the body's center of gravity changes and the load on the back small joints of the spine increases. These overloads often manifest as lower back pain or pain between the shoulder blades.

There has been a tradition of associating lower back and pelvic pain in pregnant women with pelvic loosening or inevitable pain secondary to the hormonal changes that accompany pregnancy, but luckily this is not usually the case. Often the cause of pregnant women's pains over, or around, the lower back and pelvis is locked and tense joints.

The treatment is adapted to the pregnant woman, so that there are no effects on the abdominal area, and special attention is paid to the fact that the joints are looser than in non-pregnant women.

Most pregnant women experience a great relief in general in the body after chiropractic treatment. As a pregnant woman, there is no reason to walk around with pain that can be alleviated.
